I am using Spring's JDBC template to write a DAO class for accessing data from the backend.
When I hit the URL, the following exception is thrown:
SEVERE: Servlet.service() for servlet [cinestop] in context with path [/cinestop] threw exception [Handler dispatch failed; nested exception is

I have scooped the Internet for the cause of this error, but have been unable to decipher the cause of its occurrence.
Can anyone help me with what am I doing wrong?

Spring jdbc needs to be using 5.0.3.RELEASE
, the same version as the rest of the Spring framework you've added
It'd be easier to manage those if you defined the Spring version as a property in the pom, then reference that in the dependencies
Thanks, that did it. Is there any source where we can study about these required dependencies' versions?
If this worked, please mark the answer as accepted. And no, it should common knowledge that all versions of a framework should match
It'd be a lot easier than that to use the Spring Boot dependency management.
@cricket_007 It's not always obvious which components are "in sync". Spring Data has its own train, Spring Cloud, Spring Boot...
@chrylis Let's say for the same
groupId
, it's usually a good idea to double check the versions are close to matching
