MikroTik routing

发布于 2020-12-11 15:51:50

I have one question.

  1. I have a MicroTik router and two computers.
  2. I have a static address 192.168.1.251/24 on one computer and 192.168.1.252/24 on the other, so these two computers are in the network.
  3. I connected one computer to the eth5 port of the MikroTik and the other to the eth6. And these two computers are not visible each other.

Does anyone know what needs to be done to see these two computers?

The router should also have a LAN IP address in the same range, and have the same subnet mask (eg. LAN IP 192.168.1.1, subnet mask 255.255.255.0); you can set that on the router.

Also, both computers need to know that the router's LAN IP address is their router/default gateway. As you don't use DHCP for the two computers, you will have to set that on both computers.
